Heather Godsoe grew up in Cumberland, ME, where, at
the age of seven, her family encouraged her to start riding horses on
her grandparents farm. Over the years Heather played with different
disciplines, but finally found a love for Dressage. Heather has been
lucky to work extensively with Bill Warren, Jennifer Baumert, Beth
Baumert, and Conrad Schumacher. She has held working student, assistant
training, and full-training positions at different farms. She has
competed successfully at levels Training through Prix St. Georges. She
is no stranger to the New England and Florida show circuit with her own
and client's horses.
In 2003, Heather graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor's
degree in Psychology, a tool that allows her to work with a range of
students having a variety of goals. She prides herself on the time she
takes with each student. She is thrilled to be working in RI with such a
fun and motivated group of students. She is greatly looking forward to
the 2007 season! |
